Programs

Creative Castle Preschool and Kindergarten is designed for 2.5, 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Our philosophy is to develop and nurture a positive self image in every child through individual instruction and a developmental approach to learning. Our goal is to ensure that each child realizes their full potential and develops an ongoing love for learning and education.

Our curriculum strives to meet the individual needs and assist the development of all children in all areas: intellectual, social, emotional and physical. Every month encompasses a new theme, from “All About Me” to “Mother Goose on the Loose.”

Classrooms have centers that encourage social play, reading, math and computer skills.

Mommy and Me (Ages 1 – 3 Years Old)

Classes are designed to introduce toddlers to socialization, exploration, creativity and learning through stories, art projects and free play. Parent must attend with child.

Jr Kindergarten

Junior kindergarten is designed for students who do not meet the state’s birth date requirement for a public kindergarten. Our program provides a strong, educational foundation for students that are ready for a kindergarten curriculum, but are not quite ready for the larger setting of a public kindergarten classroom.

After completion of the junior kindergarten program, students may test into a Grade 1 class, provided they turn 6 years old before December 31.

Health and Physical Education

The Health and Fitness curriculum is designed to help each child learn how to obtain a healthy mind, body and lifestyle. Emphasis is placed on good hygiene, proper nutrition, hydration and rest. We focus on balance, core strength and the ability to control our bodies. Various skills, such as balance, kicking, throwing and catching a ball are also taught. Students will learn the importance of working together as a team through activities such as kick ball and T-ball.

Spanish

A child’s brain is exponentially growing and changing during the first few years of life. Exposing children to another language will result in enhanced academic achievement in reading, math and social studies. Our Spanish program introduces basic vocabulary, conversational phrases, customs and cultures of Spanish countries. Students will be immersed in the program through games, songs, dances and written activities.
